Please note, The Learning League will not be open this fall.
Though tutoring services are in high demand, The Learning League the model does not currently fit in today's learning environment. Instead of changing or model, we have decided to take the fall of and re evaluate our business. We want to continue to meet the needs of our community and hope to open our doors, and possibly our new model, in 2021. Until then we wish you the best.
Welcome to The Learning League, LLC
The Learning League was founded on the principle that all students can achieve their highest potential when they are challenged, given the tools to problem solve and the space to think creatively. We want to help students become independent thinkers and lifelong learners. The Learning League believes that working one on one with students is fundamental to this process and that all students can succeed when effort and hard work are combined with the guidance of a positive and motivated instructor. We train qualified and responsible high school students to become coaches and, by doing so, The Learning League offers an affordable education program that builds on skills and supports higher order thinking.
I invite you to learn more about The Learning League and how we can enhance your child’s educational experience.

"Mei-Li's appeal (for GTD services) was accepted and she is now in GTD math! I am so happy. It takes a village to raise a child and I am so glad you (Learning League) are in my village helping me to raise my child. In the short 1.5 years she has been coming to TLL, she has gone from "I-hate-math!" to "I-love-math!-I-can't-get enough-math!"
Too often U.S. school systems leave girls behind in math especially at the elementary school level where joy in learning can be cemented. The Learning League's unique style of using high school students to tutor the kids sets just the right tone.
Mei-Li loves going to TLL. She is inspired and looks up to her tutor. Sandra does a great job of overseeing the hiring and training of the tutors. Sandra makes sure the tutors know exactly what to teach the students on an individual basis. Since Sandra is a former District 97 teacher herself, she knows what the students are learning in school and so going to The Learning League is not about repetitive worksheets but about moving beyond the gaps in understanding based in current District 97 curricula. She emphasizes critical thinking and problem solving over wrote memorization. Sending your child to the Learning League is about setting your child up for present and future success in school."
